Hello well to make a long story short My rb20det gets so hot that it burns my powersteering reservoir and my wastegate has a burnt white look to it now to and it does'nt stop at just looks when my car is cold it goes to redline nice and easy but when its hot it does'nt go over 5500 rpm... I changed my thermostat and it realy did'nt help how hot the motor was it just keeps my coolant temp at a good level. My coolant temp is 160-180 degrees but my valve cover and block are like 200 to 220. I was thinking that my fans were'nt powerful enough these are the ones that I have http://www.performancecenter.c...1XXX/ an aluminum race radiator would make my engine run cooler. Should i get the koyo racing rad. and f-a-l 220 fans?? What do you guys think?? This 5500 cut is really starting to get on my nerves its in an s13 hatch by the way

Something else is wrong, check your ignition timing

It should not be cooking anything in the engine compartment. I have a piece of junk electric fan with no shroud and it doesnt get that hot.
