If i get a new electric fan, say a permacool 14", could i wire it into the stock fan wiring. I am assuming that the on/off for the stock electric cooling fan is controlled by the coolant temp sensor, so could i just splice wirea for the new cooling fan into stock fan connection?

i believe the stock fan only turns on if the a/c is on or in a overheat condition.it's probably better to wire the fan using an aftermarket fan control.
