I got a ka24e, and I recently did a head gasket job on it. replacing the thermostat and radiator. I've been noticing that my engine is giving off a lot of heat. Many people have told me it's normal but it seriously feels like the heat just slaps you in the face. Any comment on that.

Also white smoke was just coming out of my radiator. the cap is on there but it was the cap off of the old radiator, do I need a new radiator cap for my new radiator? it's been leaking coolant from the cap too. and the hose from the radiator to my reservoir and my upper hose are insanely hot. Would I need a new water pump?

someone please help me as well as any more info you can give me. no there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust. and my temp gauge shows that it's in the middle where it should be.

Those hoses are always that hot. If its not burning you its too cool.
you should definately change that rad cap if its leaking. Any leaks or air in the system will cause your car to run hot
