My 2012 M37 only has heated seats, is it possible to get the cooling part installed? Maybe swap out seats with my wife's M35!! She may object to this though. Happy wife happy life.
Lemme know if anyone has done this please.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this. In lots of cases, the wiring harness needed is already in the car, but not connected when an optional equipment isn't included in the build. The only thing is this: The M37 is a slightly smaller car inside and out than was the M35. I don't know if the seats are interchangeable or if the mounting brackets are identical.
On a side note:
What the %#^*# !!! Are you saying that Infiniti stopped making temp controlled seats standard in the M37 ?? What the bloody hell were they thinking ???

Yup, heated seats were standard in the M37 but the heated+cooled seats were only standard in the M56. The V6 could be optioned with the cooling as well though.

As to just physically switching seats and everything being functional, I doubt it. The base model had a seat heatee module with one plug while the climate control seat has a 3 plug module.
Maybe lift your seat and check underneath for loose plugs.

That's assuming you are taking climate controlled seats from a 2011+ model and installing that. Using seats from a different model will bring its own set of challenges on physical fitment, color matching, electrical and airbag connectors etc.

Hmmm. Makes sense. Even my 83 year old mother said it is a smaller seat area/seat. Getting in and out a bit more of a challenge.
