There is a coolant tube under the intake with one 3/4 connection at the front, a 5/8 on the side, a 5/8 at the rear, and smaller (1/4?) on the top and top back. I have welded the top 1/4 connections shut, as i am not running coolant to the TB or the turbo.

I couldn't find in the FSM, nor am I by my car, but what does the side 5/8 go to? I remember it comes up and goes near the intake.

S14 uses a 3/4 connection for the heater inlet, so if i could get rid of this side 5/8 connection I can eliminate this tube and run straight 3/4 from the radiator hose T to the heater hose inlet.

Thanks

I took mine and threw it in the garbage. I'll go check out what I did and report back.

Okay, so its still there. It actually does something.

tees up with rubber hose going to underside if intake manifold at front.

big outlet at front goes to the t-stat housing.

little one at front side is capped off, no idea what it went to but who the hell cares, it isn't important.

small one at back side goes around the back to the turbocharger.

big one at back goes to the heater core.

you listed everyone that i know!

im talking about the connection that is about 2-3 inches back from the t-stat housing connection. the tube runs parallel to the cam, but there is one 5/8"nipple that comes off perpendicular to the tube, pointing toward the passenger side fender.

Ok in mine,

#1 to heater core#2 to turbo#3 capped #4 to t-stat housing#5 to engine block

Totally what I said earlier.
