Hi there, I've been doing some research on the coolant temp sensor for my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0l. I ran across somewhere on a parts site that there was a coolant temp sensor and a temperature sending unit for the gauge. They had different part numbers. I wrote them down bu now I've misplaced them. Does the coolant temperature sensor part no, 22630-7Y000 that is in back of the engine, control the coolant temp plus the gauge ? Or is there actually two sensors ? Thank you.

Normally there are 2 sensors. Once for temp sensor, one for gauge. The sensor should be 2 wire and the gauge 1 wire.

Thanks for the reply Red_Det. Are they the same part no. ? Do you have a diagram for where the one for the gauge is at ? I think it's best I go ahead and switch em both out while I'm doing everything else. :yesnod

I'm confused.
All the information is right in front of you so you can figure it out. You asked for a diagram and I told you exactly where to get it, so how is the information hoarded. I even told you there is a sensor for temp and one for gaug . I dont even own a pathfinder but here I am providing you direction. If everything is handed to you in life, what do you learn? So what is a youtube video going to accomplish?

The hell is wrong with you? Are you drunk?

Yeah. We're selfish. Ok.

If we're so selfish, don't use my FSM, go buy your own. Douche.

p.s. I love the delusion that a few YouTube vids from someone who probably can't change an air filter is somehow going to affect one of the largest automotive forums on the web... 6+ million posts.

Better fire up Mom's video camera, homey! :)

Dude. The FSM is there for you to educate yourself. RED_DET isn't well versed in the Pathfinder, saw a member in need and provided the link to help you get to your answer. You didn't even have to go to the reference section of the library for the FSM and have to photocopy the pages you need. A couple of clicks and some reading of the table of contents would have got you that much closer to the answer. Now you're going to invest more time to make a video and trash the guy and the organization that was trying to help you? :wtf2:
