I just went into O'Reilly's and said I needed a temp sensor for a 1988 Pulsar SE w/ CA18DE. $22 later I had a working sensor

thank you dee

I have another question.

I have a troble hooking up the o2 sensor..it is generic bosch 3 wire sensor2 white and 1 black.. black is for senderwhites are 12v and/ground..

when I hook it up.. it will stumble and cut off. unhook it runs 100 time better than hooked up.

I am thinking I have problem with wiring... or someithng. because o2 is brand new. old one or new oen doesnt make any differncewhat do I need to start to trouble shoot..

kinda related to this.. my car runs horrible on partial thorttle... runs perfect on WOT. boost and no hesitation at all...but on partial throttle .. especially on very little throttle.. it feels like cuts off and clugged.. untill you give more gas and it start to take off.. I dont think its MAF because it runs great on WOT. I also have good compression as well.

let em know what u think

You definitely have the wires hooked-up wrong, but I can't say too much about the bosch O2 sensors.

I am using the 300zx z32 O2, it is the same one and will plug in without any mods, both twin turbo or N/A have the same part #.

Regarding your generic O2, the black is the signal which goes to a white wire on your CA harness, then the O2 got 2 white wires, one is 12v and the other is ground, doesn't matter which is which,

if your car starts sputtering and sometimes stalling while at a stop light or a start up or something..basically just not when its WOT then start your car and wiggle the mafs connector..it worked for me..then i thought it would be all corroded or dirty or something so i took it apart and it was spotless it still gets loose every once in a while since i took it of

Just to clarify, you did get it working correctly by using the Z32 O2 instead of the generic, right?
