Coolant Temp Sensor

So i searched and really didnt find what i was looking for so i just need a quick answer! I need to buy a new RB25DET S1 Coolant temp sensor. not the single one for the gauges the one for the ecu.I read that you could use one from a 91 300sx TT but i just want to make sure first!Thanks in advance!
