I have a redtop SR. I know the SR replacement list says that I should use the CTS for a 95 KA24DE but was wondering if there was a difference between S13 and S14. Also I heard people run B13 SE-R sensors. Are they all the same?

Yes, there is a difference between the S13 and S14. I was having issues with my CTS and was told that the CTS needs to match the chassis year and not the motor year. Apparently, the S14 gauge cluster needs a different voltage than the S13 CTS sends.

I think you are talking about the thermal transmitter for the gauge cluster if you are running an S13 SR in an S14. I am talking about the CTS that sends the signal for the ECU.

i believe that you need the CTS from the S13 KA. Generally speaking, stick with same generation sensors for replacement.
