I am new to the whole thing about asking for help in this manner so please bare with me.
I have a 1986 Nissan 300ZX, I am getting three different codes that I have already checked. The first code is code #13, I already have the coolant temperature sensor, but I am unable to locate where the sensor is to go.
The other two codes are #23 which indicates on computer board as the idle switch
The last code is code #31 which indicates on the computer board as the load signal.
According to Auto Zone code #23 is the "Idle Air Control Valve which is outrageous, The code #31 indicates a problem in the A/C system according to techs. This is not a problem because we live in North Carolina and it is getting cooled at this time.
Please help me I am pulling my hair out on this and have been dealing with this for almost a month. I need this car to run properly so that I can have a car and not the motorcycle this winter.
Sincerely
Flippo

the cts, chts or whatever you like to call it is ont he frotn of the drivers side cylinder head, near the base kinda behind the timing cover, common issue, pita to replace

code 23 is tps, not a common issue, you might want to have a good look at the wiring, connectors and such

code 31is a/c load, I think this has to do with the fast idle, it's the valve thingy ont he passanger side of the plenum, agian check the wires and conectors before replacing any parts
