I was told my bobbing idle is caused by a faulty coolant temp sensor in my ka24e. I would liek to know where this is located (the one for the ecu, not the gauge cluster). They have the part in stock at Advanced Auto. I just wanna know where this is before I start the job. Thanks in Advanced.

acrually if you do not remove the rad cap and the car was not just shut off from running(after it has sat a few mins). you can remove it and put it back in with out loosing a drop.

It sits right smack on top - conveniently ready for plucking.

I found it. 1.) does it take about a 19mm socket, and 2.) i know my ecu ain't throwin a code by my idle bobs up and down and i get bogind and hesitation sometimes. even tho i ain't throwin a code can it still be bad or gunked up?
