coolant temp sensor adapter confusion!!!!!

ok so i got this temp sensor adapter http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/%2 ... -34mm.html

im not getting any readings from my stri gauge at all.

first of all the very small screw off to the side im going to go ahead and assume is for a ground, but what ground? just ground it to anything i can find or does it have to be the sensor ground?

i just recently grounded it to the chassis and still no reading.......

Yep, the screw is for the ground.

Did you wrap or put anything onto the sensor threads? Like silicone. The sensor should have good contact with the adapter.

Also make sure to check your gauge wiring.

yep, i put some thread tape on there. that might be the problem. ill take it off today and see if anything changes.
