Ok, so here's there rundown:
93 240sx w/redtop
everything stock besides front mount and exhaust and hks bov and walbro pump.

I hooked up my aftermarket temp gauge and I am only reading MAYBE 150* after driving it for quite some time. I can hit boost (~8-9psi) doing 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and it picks up like a raped ape with no issues. I also get a funky small misfire when idling.
Then when I try to speed up full throttle or down shift and punch it, my car bogs out like a mofo with no power. So, things I've checked:

injectors: 11.8ohms on all four
TPS set to 0.5v when car is off and throttle closed
MAF showing 1.5v at idle
Plugs gapped to .035 on bkre6 NGK

I am just wondering if the coolant temp not getting up to normal operating temp would cause it to run s*** like that. The needle on my stock temp gauge goes up a little over 1/4 of the way too so I think it's deffinately running to cool. Any ideas?

Sounds like thermostat is opening a little early, and yes it'd possible for the ecu to stay in cold start mode and run sluggish if the engine isn't warmed up.

Where are you reading the temp from (where's the sensor)? Does it warm up when just sitting at idle and not moving?

The temp sensor for the aftermarket gauge is on the driverside coolant hose. It barely warms up when just idling for like 5 mins. It probably only really gets to like 125-135F. Then while driving it reaches almost 150. That's way to cold isnt it? It's running the stock clutch driven fan too. No electronic fans.

Eventually you'll want e-fans. Sitting at idle for long enough time it should reach 170-180 degs or so without an issue, even if the thermo is opening too early.

But does sound like the thermostat needs to be changed first.

Okay, so this afternoon I went through and pulled the fuel pump out to see if it was actually a walbro like the guy who I bought it from told me. It was but the jackwagon didn't change the strainer and it was completely coated with redish orange putty looking s***. I took it off and sprayed it down with brake cleaner and put it back for now. I think I need to clean the tank bad. Oh, and I changed the thermostat and my coolant temp now reads ~170F like it is supposed to. I drove it home and it ran much better it seems. I feel like the clogged strainer was probably a main cause for the bogging.
