I just finished up a timing chain job/head gasket job on my b13 GA16DE. I have no idea if the gauge worked prior to now because the car was dontated to me. The temp gauge is not reading at all. I checked the coolant temp sensor. Checked good, checked the wiring going to the sensor, good. There is coolant flowing all the way through the cooling system ... upper and lower hose are warm after about 10 minutes of idleing, and i made sure to "burp" the cooling system when adding new coolant. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. if you need more info let me know. thanks in advance.

Welcome!!

Normally the temp sensor is the culprit. But you checked the voltages going to the sensor? There are two sensors right next to each other, which one are you checking?
