I've searched, couldn't find an answer. I want to remove all the coolant crap from my intake manifold and throttle body. I am going to run custom lines to my heater core and turbo. Is there any down side to this?? I have done the coolany bypass on the TB of all my other cars, but this SR has a few more lines running around. If I install a Greddy manifold, there is no accomodation for the coolant lines, so it makes sense I could remove them........ Thanks in advance, and if I missed it in the search, link me please.....

The factory coolant lines are there for the purpose of cold starts. It warms the air so the car doesnt stutter and gets up to temp quicker.

I understand what they are there for, but since I live in Florida, it's not really an issue. Besdides, the Greddy manifold has no accomodations for the factory coolant solenoid, so it must not really be needed, more for emissions than anyhting else. On Honda's(only car I have experience with) disconecting the coolant lines to the TB is one of the best mods as well as installing a phenolic gasket between the head and the intake manifold. Am I missing something?? I do appreciate your help, I just don't care about the warming of the intake air on a forced induction car that creates heat as it is.
