Hey guys, I've been getting terrible MPG lately, and I wanted to know if anyone on here knew how to check the coolant temp sensor (with a multimeter).

For example, I tried starting it yesterday, and while I was cranking it, it sounded like it was about to start, so I let off. Well, it almost started, and then died. It wouldn't start for the next five minutes or so after that (like it was flooded or something of that nature).

Any other ideas. I have been searching about this for the last two weeks or so, and all I have gotten was a list of parts to replace.

Thanks,

Noah

The car also bogs down whenever I try to take off from a stop light. The RPMs dip for about half a second, and then shoot up.

Thanks.
