Coolant sensor>>No start?

I can get the car started if i leave it sit for a few hours but after i let it warm up and shut it off then try and restart it, it wont fire. Its a 89' 240 and also my coolant gauge isnt working. What do you think the problem is and how to fix it?

Or im still kinda thinking its the EGI Pump relay. I found the ground(i think) for that relay and snipped the wire and and made a different ground and now i can at least get it started but then after i get it started & warmed up and shut it off and try to restart i got nothing???????????

Ok its def not the coolant bs

I now ran a jumper wire in the relay and it will start but run very bad and die

ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS??????????????

That seems very odd. I had to re ground that wire on my EGI relay as well because I wasn't getting power to my fuel pump after I did my swap (s14sr>s13). Was the wire you snipped black and pink?I dunno why that would cause your car to only want to start sometimes though.... hmmmmmm.. I is curious

Yep i regrounded the black/pink wire. And i have a jumper wire in teh relay and it runs like crap now....
