I got a stupid question... can the Toyota red coolant put in SR20??

why use toyota red coolant, is there anything special about it?

it's safer on aluminum parts. it's minus two or three common chemicals that damage aluminum.

From a friend who worked at Toyota for 7 years... he says there are three types.. pinkish, red, and green. Pink he says is supposed to last like 100+ miles, red lasts a little less (60k miles) and green is your good old regular coolant (30k miles).

Red he says $30/galPink 15/gal

I dont know why pink costs less than red but it is...
