Coolant Problem! Help ASAP!!!

ARG!!!

92 ka24de fastback

Recently there has been a coolant leak... wierd part... it's leaking into my interior and under my dash near the pedals but onto the little rubber pad on the floor and the carpet... plus major coolant smell obviously.... someone please help!!!

I dont know anything about this but coolant does flow to heater core and fan blows the heat to heat up interior. might just be hoses going to heater core.

yea it has to do with the heater hoses and the core, tear out your dash and check it out.

meh... thanks guys... major suxorz! i don't suppose any one knows where there are a set of directions any where from anyone that shows what i'm looking for/where i'm looking...

You can loop your coolant lines at the fire wall for temp. fix. It is deep in the dash on the passanger side. If your looking in the engine bay you should see where the coolant line go into the firewall. For some reason Nissan chose plastic and they do break.

Your heater core is easy to remove, the pita part is that you need to take out your dash to get to it, I know this beacause I removed the ac condencer. I would not just loop the lines together because the heater core is like a second radiator for your engine and you could propably find one at a junkyard for cheep.
