Coolant leak, where from??

Hey guys, when I shut off my car it spits up about 10oz of coolant, but I'm not sure where its coming from, its not leaking from the water pump, it seems to be below that, behind one of the pulleys. Any Ideas?

If it is behind the power steering pulley on the passenger side then it is probably coming from the thermostat housing or the radiator hose that goes to it HTH

One of my friends said it could be the water pump weep hole. Any thoughts on this?

That was my first thought. Are you sure it's not leaking from there? It's very possible that the coolant is just trickling down making it seem it's not coming directly from the pump.

im having the same problem, i replaced the water pump and the thermostat housing gasket, but the leak is still going and it look like it is coming from the water pump, and when i drive it for a little it stops leaking but when i turn off it starts leaking rapidly and steaming, any ideas on what it could be?

Hmm, I'm not sure, Mine was coming from the water pump weep hole. And now that I've replaced the water pump its been fine ever since. Good luck though, hopefully someone on here gives you some ideas.

did you figure out where it was leaking from i want to check my g/f's car i never had that happen on my old ka now i have an sr so im clueless???
