So, I fixed and replaced my radiator on my S1 RB25 with an aftermarket 2 row unit, and everything was running good until we got it back from a quick test drive.

When parked, the engine spewed most of it's coolant all over the driveway. I thought that I had a leaking radiator hose, but upon closer inspection, the engine is leaking coolant from underneath the intake manifold. It leaked enough to create a 2 foot radiused puddle under the car in a matter of minutes.

Is this a common problem? Besides the fact that I know that it is coming from SOMEWHERE under the intake manifold, I believe that it is leaking from near the small gray cylinder looking part that is almost above the oil filter. This has some hoses running to it, but I am not sure.

If this is the area, what is the easiest way to get to this problem spot? I'm trying to NOT remove the intake manifold, but if that's necessary - so be it.

Can anyone confirm that there are coolant hoses underneath the intake manifold, because my guess is the guy I had help me clean the underside of it forgot a spring clip down there, and it's leaking because of that. If not, I have no idea where to buy hoses.

yea, thats probably the case, there are some coolant lines under there, and he prob forgot a clamp or something...but i'm not sure why those were messed w/ while doing a radiator.

My guess is it happened before the engine went in.

Is it easier to go from the bottom of the car, or just work around the manifold and go from the side?
