Ok I was driving my car to work notice my engine thermostat was overheating and so light white smoke coming from the hood I barley made it to work after a few stops to cool it down. I literally it set for 2 hrs. then check ked the radiator which was empty but my Reservoir was still full, coolant was sprayed on they fans and over the radiator a cool worker said it might be the Head gasket which I'm praying it's not. Any suggestions. After work I'm going to the store to Top off the radiator.

Welcome to the forum.

Might also be the hoses...that's more likely to be honest. I had it happen on my old Subaru when I was 16. Check those first.

The radiator cap could be bad too. Was the smoke coming from one side of the car or just uniformly from all the hood-body gaps?

Go rent or buy a radiator pressure tester to confirm leak location. An overheated engine is serious business.

It probably needs a radiator. They crack a the seams.
