my problem is that i have coolant leaking somewhere, but i cant tell where from. i've gone through about two tanks of coolant in about 1.5 months time, and i can't seem to locate the leak. i changed my thermostat and installed a new gasket (old one was busted). i refilled the coolant, etc, opened the burp hole and let it run etc. anyways, its been cold, so i did use the heating, my oil hasn't changed color to milky or anything, and i checked everything i removed during the install, but nothing? help? i dunno where to look without having to remove parts, thanks, matt

Check the heater core and the water pump. You may not see the water pump leaking but you may want to take it somewhere and have it pressure tested.

you can pressure test it yourself by borrowing a tool from a local autozone... http://www.autozone.com/servle...r.jsp

"Using our Loan-A-Tool service is easy. Just leave a deposit at the store when you pick up the tool. When you're through, just bring it back, and we'll refund the deposit."

was like this for a nearby pepboys but i havent been to that store in 3 years...

Check to make sure the cap/adaptor to the radiator fits before driving off to your home to test it... & try not to pump it past ~15 psi... if u got an external leak, youll see it. Safer way to look since you'll have the engine cold.
