my problem is that i have coolant leaking somewhere, but i cant tell where from. i've gone through about two tanks of coolant in about 1.5 months time, and i can't seem to locate the leak. i changed my thermostat and installed a new gasket (old one was busted). i refilled the coolant, etc, opened the burp hole and let it run etc. anyways, its been cold, so i did use the heating, my oil hasn't changed color to milky or anything, and i checked everything i removed during the install, but nothing? help? i dunno where to look without having to remove parts, thanks, matt

Your water pump could be bad. Mine was leaking. I changed it and it hasn't leaked a drop since.

just because its not in your oil doesnt mean you head gasket isnt bad. it might be steaming out the tail pipe. but unless your over heating or have a bad missfire i wouldnt think it the head gasket. i know you have checked under the hood but have you checked for water in the passenger side floor board? if no leak is apparent from the outside your heater coil might be leaking.

i'll check some of the things out today, and see what happens, i'll then post back here, also, it was recommended to presure test the cooling system for leaks?

p.s. this is what u get when u buy a car for 2500
