As the title says, actually let me say im not sure if its coolant, but it is defiitely water. Its been cold here, and last week I went to warm the car up and sat in it for 10-15 min freezing and it never got really warm. The next day im vacuuming the car out and notice water that drips out from behind the glove box. *About center line of hte glove box area* if that helps.

Any idea what this is, I realize its probably the heater core/lines coming in/blower maybe?

Im hoping this has happened to someone and they know what it is. Hopefuly its just O rings or something simple, and I DONT have to take off the dash, because last time I did it was 2 years ago and I don't even remember.

Thanks.

Chances are it's the heater core. And that little puppy ran me near $200.But you may want to check that the drain line is hooked up. Not an easy chore either, but not hard.

update - took of the glove box, still cant find where its coming from. Theres this white piece, and the drops are falling from there, but I try to follow them back to a hole or something, or a crack, no dice. Ill take a pic.

It looks like straight water. My coolant level is alright, and the antifreeze mixture is visibly green from what I can see from the radiator cap, but this is straight like water, Ill try to smell it. What the hell.

Most likely heater core. Only other way water could get in would be thru the outside vents somehow.

i think thats what it is, my weather stripping was pulled off, and it was getting in through there. still doesnt explain why the heat isnt hot though.

Dude i think there right. It's the heater core or hoses that run to and from it. you are going to have to pull the dash, not the glove box. good luck.
