Coolant leak help

Okay so as of last night, my car is blowing white smoke out the tailpipe during idle and take off. The exhaust smells sweet like coolant. How ever i am not over heating. I immediately thought head gasket but im not over heating so im thrown off. Could i not be over heating if its just starting to go out? (only started last night) One of my buddies said that it could be my intake manifold gasket? im just looking for possible causes right now so i know what to look for when i start trouble shooting. Plan on running a compression test but what else should i do/ check for? any input/ experience is appreciated. thanks guys. btw motor only has 100k on it. ka24de. I dont know if this could cause something buy i recenlty added engine stop leak (bout 300 miles ago) because my crank seal is leaking and used it as a temporary fix until i have the time to replace it. any other questions just ask.
