Coolant leak, bad water pump???

So I noticed that my car leaves small puddles of coolant after I drive it. I looked around and saw that coolant was leaking from right at the bottom of where the water pump mates to the block. I took the water pump off, cleaned the flange off, put new RTV silicon on and bolted it back in place. It still seems to leak from right at the bottom of where the water pump bolts to the block. Is the water leaking from the Water pump? There seems to be a plug on the block (big hex drive) could it be leaking from there or is this leaking a sign that my water pump is dead? Any one have or had the same problem?

The car seems to leak coolant even when its just parked. In this case, is it still most likely my water pump dying?

Perhaps you didnt seal it properly either when you put it back on again. $60 to get a new pump.

Where can I get a new pump for 60 bucks???The lowest price I saw was phase2

when did courtesy start charging a fair price for the pump? I've always seen $125-$150

They just offer good deals on certain parts. I remember a while back they were selling brand new inner engine harness's for S13 SR's for $250. Pretty good considering Heavy Throttle wanted $450 for a used one. Now I think the harness's are up to $300.

BigPerm came over today and we installed his RAS in his SR today, and he made a comment about the water pump. He said "I'll buy two! just in case"
