its broke new motor time..... well at least new T-Stat, head gasket and check your head for cracks/ warpage. depending on how long you drove it with coolant mixing with the oil you might want to check the main bearings for wear.Jpod9 wrote:Coolant was leaking into my engine while driving. The car began supttering and then blowing thick white smoke our of the exhaust. The car is back home and im trying to diagnose the problem. What could it be? and also is there a way to clean my engine after something line that? or will i need to completely rebuild my engine?

while the the head's off replace the timing chain guides and tensioner
the coolant kills the lubrication properties of the oil, if you drove it for more than a mile or two id go ahead and check the bearings for abnormal wear.Jpod9 wrote:There is coolant in the oil. After I felt the car sputtering, I pulled over and checked my coolant (which was low) and my oil which had turned into what looked like a chocolate milkshake and stunk like coolant.
