Would like to hear what you all think of a coolant flush vs just draining the radiator and replacing the water/anti-freeze. A local shop in Tampa, Asian Auto Center, will do the coolant flush for $59.00 and change. They hook up a machine and do the flush using a cleaner. Does this sound okay? Would like some input on coolant flushes.:help

Yes, definetly the way to go.Since you are in Florida dont bvotehr going 50/50 either.

Go 70% distilled water 1 bottle redline water wetter rest antifreeze for optimal performance.

Be sure to use distilled or at least soft water.

What brand of anti-freeze are you all using in your radiators? Is Reline Water Wetter an additive to the anti-freeze, or is that all that you use in combination with the water. Thanks !!!

Its a seperate bottle you buy and add at any stage of re-filling the radiator.

Most additives on the market for cars, are bunk, but RWW is one that actually works.

As for brand it doesnt really matter as long as you get one thats silicate free are the best.

Orange is fine too but you gotto flush the system out well first if you are switching from green.

Nissan Green and Toyota red are good ones as well.
