Help!! Man, how in the hell do you get at that coolant drain plug on the side of the passenger side engine block on my QX4's 3.5L engine. (2001 model if it matters.) I went to change and flush the radiatior and block the other night and finally gave up on getting access to the drain on the block.

So........how is it done. I really don't want to hear, "just don't drain it". I want to hear from the people who have done it right.

Thanks, John

I don't remember one on the passenger's side, but the one on the frontdriver's side was a bear. Getting it out wasn't hard, except it dropped out ofthe socket and fell somewhere semi-inaccessible. To put it back, I think I tooka couple of turns of blue masking tape around the head to give a good frictionfit in the socket.
