2017 Quest with 135k miles. Time to drain and fill coolant. Will use Prestone Asian blue 50/50. Other than remove cap and drain while vehicle is level, run with cap off to evacuate air then top off - are there any special tricks or procedures I need to know?

When you do the bleed, either jack the front of the car or park on an uphill. Use a no-spill bucket and fill with coolant till the bucket settles about 1/2 full. Idle till the engine is warm, then run at 3500~4000 RPM for about 2 minutes. Remove the bucket and top the recovery tank, you're done.

Note: Nissan heater cores in almost all of this century are constant-flow, so there's no need to turn the heater on while bleeding as some people suggest.

Good plan. Make sure you use distilled water, and fill the coolant overflow tank to 3/4 full. That way, even if you don't get all the air out, it'll self-bleed on first heat cycle.

Typically, just squeezing the upper rad hose will burp it sufficiently. I can't recall if the Quest has a bleeder screw (easier than leaving the cap off).

Great tips on the parking at an angle. When we would do coolant services at the dealership, we would use the lift to lift just the front of the car up and also use a no spill funnel. It will take a bit but you will avaid that nasty 'air bubble' that will cause an overheat.
