My stock s13 KA overheated last week due to using up coolant and then getting air into the system. I filled it again and bled it and it ran fine, but I checked on the coolant again today and the resersoir was down to the minimum line. The weather's been hot lately (90's) but is this normal to be using up coolant this quick? I didn't see any leaks and the upper hose and thermostat were replaced last year. Is it time up grade to an electric fan and/or new radiator?

You should never use up coolant. Its either burning off or getting into your oil. Your headgasket could be toast.

open up ur radiator cap and see if there's tiny black dots. Feel it and if the texture is oily then you've got a leak somewhere into your block. Either headgasket or the block is cracked somehow.
