Question: Do you have to remove the throttle body hose connector? Or can it be left just disconnected?

Are you talking about the water lines? They need to be plugged up at the hard pipes in the back of the engine that the heater cores hoses connect to. I believe the plenum needs to be removed to do this correctly.
