Ok, so I got my Turbo back on the motor and now I am boiling coolant out of where the IM meets the block. Pictures...

Odds are, the Intake Manifold is warped, and I need to get a new one.

Or something is cracked (maybe a gasket too). Either way, you're going to have to pull the manifold off and inspect what's going on.

Well, I do know that its the wrong gasket for the Im, its for a RWD KA24DE, I bought it from Napa but they didn't know which year it was for..so that was my mistake. So I will take it off and take a look at the IM, and see if it is cracked or warped.

How would I go about checking that by the way? to see if it is warped? A crack I could see, but a warped IM I have never seen before.

Warping is going to be real hard to see and may need to use a tiny measuring device that you can check teh measurements with small a** incriments..

all I got. I'm new by the way!

Im not a 100% positive but you may be able to take a straight edge long enough to go from one end of the manifold to the other end and see if its level, as in no spaces or gaps between the straight edge and manifold and check corner to corner, vise-verse.You know what i mean. Im fairly certain that thats how they check blocks and such before decking and resurfacing them. I hope this helps you out in some way or another. Good Luck
