No oil, well it could have been lost through the turbo and burned away, or a head gasket leak, but it would have leaked into the combustion chamber and burnt away, or mixed with the coolant.
If you went to no oil, smoke, and lost coolant that engine was really heated. I would say there is bearing damage, and possibly warped head and deck.
Was the exhaust really smokey? If so what color?
It could have been a bad head gasket seal, or you could have burnt your oil via the turbo, went low, then blew the head gasket inducing air into the coolant system. But you should have heard the motor getting loud and an oil lamp.
exhast has been smokey since I got it back.. was a white color. When the incident happened, no warning lights came on... until after I pulled over. Then the oil light came on. I pulled over because a crazy amount of smoke came from my engine which was my coolant evaporating. Checked my oil and it was empty... my car had left a trail of oil on the ground, was kind of too dark to pinpoint. My engine didn't make any type of knocking sounds. I filled up oil and tried to start it up, and it wouldn't turn on.
The whole engine is practically new... I was just hoping there was some kind of miracle that could bring it back to at least turn on..... either way it's going to have to be taken apart... I guess.
