The porthole windows up front. Love 'em.

The CVT. Man, that is one smooth transmission.

The spacious cabin. Headroom galore.

Storage cubbies everywhere on the SL.

Some of us who "downsized" aren't too thrilled with the cubbies and cup holders, but yeah, love the quiet car and the room!

Cup holders could be in a different place, I dont like how they put them in the doors, they're just like the s10's and Colorado's. and the cupholders in the center should be either lower or moved closer to the brake lever. I like how deep the glove box is but it needs to be wider. It is a nice car though.

The steering wheel could benefit from telescoping, and I agree the cupholders could be closer and have spring loaded or rubber thing to grip smaller diameter cups.

Either Audi or Volve has a electronic parking brake which I thought was pretty cool. That would free up good real estate for more cupholders or a little compartment.

Otherwise, I agree, for the price, I like the performance, functionality, and overall great design. For the factors that were most important to me, it beat out the Fit, Yaris, Caliber, Civic, Corolla, and Martrix.

MegaCool: quiet ride, driving and handling, ditto on the spacious cabin.

MicroCool: Clearbra on the rear view mirrors, reversible hatch floor, driver's seat height adjustment, auto-reverse direction windows, ditto on the portholes.

Yea, first thing I found was adjuster to put the seat all the way back, then slightly recline the seat as well. Havent really looked for any other adjustments.

Mine is an S model but its a Tiida in Panama so may be different. However, I have downloaded the Versa owners manual (my Tiida manual is only in Spanish which I can't read). The manual has the words 'if so equiped' on the height adjuster so it may not come on all Versa models.

There's other threads with many of the things you describe. Try to stick to the topic of the thread. Why do you feel the need to drag this thread down. Many owners, including myself, are totally happy with their car. Let us enjoy each other's company without complainers for a change.

My sentiments also.

Oleblue, you are free to start your own thread (appropriately titled) where others of like mind can join in. But your post here just sucked the joy out of me.

I was serious about those being "cool" versa things. I like those.

But you guys don't think so. So I deleted it then. Sorry if what I like you guys don't.

One example of "cool" things that some like and some don't 22" spinners.

Again sorry. it's gone and I won't post any more.

I hope you don't stop posting altogether. We do need to hear about Versa defects - just not in a thread about Versa merits.

On the SL I don't think those are cup holders in the door since there are cup holders in the middle?? But I havn't figured out what else they could be>

Those are indeed cupholders on the doors (or rather bottleholders).

In the rest of the world, where this car is more upscale and called Tiida, those center cupholders don't exist. Instead, it's a covered storage area. The Versa has multiple cupholders, designed for American..... appetites.

hahaha yes it works great with bottle water or juice... and the cup holder by the arm rest on the center console is nice... try driving around with an open cup check if it will spill on a tight turn :P

I still can't get over the SIZE of the interior!

I like the really short front and rar overhangs

Question though, the ride is fantastic (stiff but smooth) but it seems to have trouble with certain speed bumps (like big trouble). I think this is a function of the short wheelbase/less mass over rear axle.
