I wonder why this option never made it to the US market?

Man, if that switch was brown I would be ALL OVER those!

Very cool.

Never made it to the US because we HAVE plenty of room to park. They have to wedge their cars into tiny spaces, which means they probably have lots of "100% JDM Door Dings".

Cool Wes. I'm glad I could help. If you get them, let us know how they come out. One thing that you might have to change is that the drivers mirror would be there passenger mirror cause of right hand drive cars in Japan, so that mirror will be that wide angle mirror. I guess if you swap the mirror insert from the old one, then you'll be OK.

Don't you loose the heated mirror option with that setup? Not a big deal to me here in SC, but in other parts of the country (like Indiana :) ) that might be an issue. I always get really excited the three times per year that the mirrors fog up so I can watch those heaters make quick work of it! Maybe I need to get out more... read some good books... travel... :D

I've got these on my Skyline and I have need to use it probably 2 times a year max. I use it way more though - sometimes it's just nice to fold them in when you're parked at a busy shopping centre. For $20 I'd take them. I'm from Australia, so I also come from a big country where parking space isn't an issue and I still find them handy.

Cheers,Michael

Mine aren't heated, but all pre V35 Skyline mirrors aren't heated AFAIK. It was more of a sports car before it became the Infiniti G35.
