Hello everyone.

Awhile ago when I used to drive 05 SE... I found out this feature and posted on the "other forum" and caused quiet a stir. This feature works on my 08 a/c along with all recent model nissans and infinitis. I think it's some sort of self diag feature but was wondering if anyone had more information about it.

Here are the steps...1) Your cars ignition off and keep drivers door open.2) Switch ignition to on without engine on.3) Press the rubber button on b-pillar that gets pressed when the door closes 10 times.4) switch ignition off5) turn ignition on (without engine on)

I'm not gonna say what happens next for the enjoyment for those who havent done this.

Also... sorry if this has been posted before... I tried searching but found nothing... also didnt know what to search for.

It's in the door jam. Open your door... and you'll see like 2 stickers with information like tire psi and color code... around there... theres a rubber button that gets pressed when the door closes to turn off interior lights. that button.

If I had to guess a "relay test" It runs power to all the relays one by one, wipers. fans, lights ect....all new cars have this test mode/test..

will that have any neg effects on the car, a while back I was messing with the push button start, and reset my radio(accident), now randomly when I start my car the nav system will continously restart itself over and over, but that is like once every 3-5 months so far and its been a while since its happened last.

Think that will reset my car and take care of that problem?? haha I have no idea

The dealer said they found nothing wrong when they "tested" it.

I doubt it. I've done it plenty of times on my 05 altima and my a/c. I just activates stuffs like windshield wiper between speeds, high and low beams, fogs... radiator fans and stuffs. It's actually pretty fun to do it. It scared the crap out of me when I first did it. The car literally looked possesed. hehe

So I guess it is just a self diag. Anyone tried it yet?

And the meet... sounds fun but 9pm might be a problem. How long is the meet??? I think I might be able to get there around 10:30.

I did it on my coupe the wipers go from slow to fast, running lights come on then off, headlights come on and high beams flash, fan comes on, then it repeats.
