After watching the video, I learned something new. The Sojourner leather is dyed from the back side. This means when it gets scratched it won't be another color under the leather. It's solid all the way through, which is pretty neat. My past cars with leather were not like that.

Usually, decent leather is aniline dyed, which permeates the leather with its color.

One complaint on the Lexus SL 300/400 was the seats would scuff to show the leather underneath. Surface dyes are not durable and should never be used for seating, or wherever wear may occur.

Re the video: I was waiting for them to drive away with the hood unlatched.
