so my buddy has a 2009 dodge challenger se basic edition with 60 k miles, and I am trying to convince him to buy a G37s. Here are some specs that I have gathered on the G:

•3.7L V6 engine 330 HP, @7000 RPM
•Manual transmission
•60k Miles
•Up to 18 cty/26 hwy mpg
•MP3 Player
•Side/Curtain Airbags
•Stability Control
•Traction Control
•Heated Seats/Leather
•Cruise Control
•19 inch rims/tires
•Xenon high intensity discharge headlights

What should be some selling points I should tell him to give up his challenger for the G??

I'd just have him test drive it. If he likes it, he likes it, if not... I dunno I'd quit bugging him about it. What do you care what he drives?

What year/price is the G?

yeah once you drive the G, it sells its self... but yes it does look good in the spec sheet too.

well i actually get a cut of the profit if i sell my buddy's g to my other friend. my other friend had been complaining that he doesnt like his challenger, and wants something nicer/sportier. I think it would be a pretty good fit for him. im selling a 2008 with 60k miles for 22k.

well iirc, the 2009 era Challenger SE has a pretty sub-par 4 speed auto. The transmissions alone would make me switch. Aside from that point, I think it comes down to taste and how you plan to use your car. If he is using it as his daily driver and has to deal with busy highways like most of us, I doubt the extra 50-60 hp will do all that much good.

For me personally, it would be no contest - G37 >>> Challenger.

edit - (80ish more hp)
