Convex mirror on heated side mirror?

Howdy,

Has anyone installed convex mirror on heated side mirrors? My Rogue is an SL with heated side mirrors and I was wondering how the adhesive on the back of the convex mirrors will hold up if I installed them... Let me know if anyone has done this or has any thoughts...

The mirror doesn't get that hot. I don't imagine any more than leaving the vehicle parked outside on a hot summer's day. I don't see any problem with it.

If anything, it'd probably help the adhesive bond better. I installed an adhesive mount for my little helmet camera on the back of my snowmobile right on top of where a coolant line/heat exchanger runs. The extra heat helped it bond GOOD.

I've had a convex mirror on my 03 Dakota since the week I bought it and it's still there working great. Plan on putting one on my wife's Rogue.

Thanks Dave. I did end up installing the convex mirrors... haven't had any issues with it either.
