hey guys...If i have the steering rack, intact dash (no cracks) pedals, master cylinder, ignition, etc. etc.)...pretty much everything, how hard would it be to make a 240sx rhd then?lets not say it will cost alot getting those parts, just say i have them.... what else would i need and etc.also has anybody done this?thanks

Mike

YOu need the firewall, hella welding skills, $$ for fabbing up any number of little brackets, you'll have to move the ECU to the other side of the car which will involve tons of re-wiring, pretty much all the brake, clutch, accellerator linkage, and I'd definetly say that if you think you have everything because you bought a front clip you don't. And just so you know, it's a pain to drive RHD car in the US, our roads and cars are designed this way for a reaon.

ive driven RHD cars here in the US.. its not that bad at all, my friends 300zx is RHD.But whywould i need to move the ecu to the other side? its already setup to go in the right spot because thats how its in the JDM models, and ill be using a SR20DET.

I was talking about this a while ago, I'm in Japan right now, and am (still) looking into the technicalities of bringing a Silvia home "for parts" which I can swap onto a 240 thus creating a RHD Silvia with a US VIN number. Let me know if you have any luck with this,-M635CSL
