Hello, I recently got a receiver hitch from a heavy truck right through the grill of my beautiful 2008 Altima almost piercing my radiator and taking out both OEM HID headlights. I'm asking, can I buy new halogen stuff and will the wire harness facilitate or is this next to impossible?

up for suggestions

If you have to replace the headlights, the housing, you have 2 options:

1. Buy a replacement HID headlights.

2. Halogen headlights are cheaper, wiring wouldn't be a problem. You could use the ballast wire for the new halogen bulbs, and just cancel the ballast altogether.

The high beams are halogen so you're set up there there's nothing you have to do.

If you could find cheap hid headlights that would be the best option obviously.
