Converting automatic transmission to manual

I own a 1992 Nissan 240SX SE convertible with automatic transmission. Before I purchased this car, I had a little 1986 Nissan pickup truck that was manual. I loved driving a standard. Sadly, my 240 is automatic, which I see as a shame because it is made for speed. The aerodynamic body style so low to the ground would be so fun to shift if it were manual. I wonder how costly it can be to convert from automatic to manual?
