converting advertised cam duration from a 2-digit to a 3-digit number

Not sure about American engines and cams but some Japanese cams are denoted with three digit degree numbers, other with two digit ones. HKS will call a cam a "264" while Trust calls it a "66". I have always just multiplied the two digit number times 4 to get the three digit as above but I wanted to be sure that was right. I just laid hands on some "66 degree" Trust cams. Now if the above formula is correct than these are 264 degree cams.

i can only think of one way to figure out if you cant find it from anywhere else. get a mic and a cam whose specs you do know and do some comparison between the two.
