convertible Z's

I was driving down the highway after inspecting that Z i just bough off ebay (all went well mechanic said its in perfect condition) and i saw a convertible being towed. It was some sort of man-made car for racing or just a hobby. anyway, it was raining and the top was down. My question is are convertible Z's waterproof? Incase you leave the top down and youre in the mall while its raining or something like that.

not to your point, but i saw a 350z convertible the other day with the top up and I wasnt a fan of the soft top. It doesnt look right with the rag top.. just my 2 pennies.

is it waterproof.....no

the carpet would absorb water then mildew, the stereo would get moisture in it and the odds of it working after it was dry are not very good, if it had leather, the leather would be alright because in non-porous, if the seats were cloth though it they werent properally dried out afterwards they would mildew also. of course it depends on how hard it was raining, also why leave the top down when you go into a mall?

i think if he had a z he would have been posting in the z forum asking the z guys. as far as being waterproof. He'll yeah it's waterproff. Every cars interior is waterproof. Seriously, what kind of question is that? I'm really wasting my time even posting a response to this.

i was looking at the threads i made looking for a specific one when I came upon this one. I accidentally posted this post in this thread btw, I meant to post it under 350z. Its a 2005, i changed it to 2003 when i bought a 2003 but the deal never went through. And Yes, it does have a police detector that i recently bought (excort 8500 thanks for those who recommended it). I haven't had the chance to take some real pics yet, I have a couple on my phone that ill give you the link to but they are nothing presentable. I always thought the a/c forum guys were a lot nicer than the 350z, but after reading this you guys are just harsh.
