Convertible Wheel/Tire Questions?
I have OEM 19" wheels (8.5" F off set 43 and 9" R off set 30) with 225/45 and 245/40 tires.
I recently have been looking into anniversary OEM 19" wheels but the problem is these only come in 30 offset for all 4. The two for rear will be fine but the question is for the front wheels/tires:
What's my best option:
1)use same tire 225/45 with 19x9x30 offset wheels
2) use same as rear size tires 245/40 with 18x9x30 offset wheels.
3) Get correct offset and wheel size (19x8.5x43 offset),
Please respond with your educated suggestions.

Thanks

30 series offset should be fine on the front. To make it look more even you can throw a set of 15mm spacers on the rear as the front would look more "flush" than the rear. I was running a 28mm offset on the front with my 19" factory wheels (due to the 15mm spacer) and it was a good fit for the car as seen in this pic:

Thanks for the response
Here's what I get :
Current Wheel Width 8.5 inches Current Wheel Offset 43mm
New Wheel Width 9 inches New Wheel Offset 30 mm
new wheel will have the following chracteristics:

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 7mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 19mm

Now the next question on tires> 1 or 2?
1) use same tire 225/45 with 19x9x30 offset wheels
2) use same as rear size tires 245/40 with 19x9x30 offset wheels.

Sorry, didn't see where you mentioned 9" front width. Yes, the outside of the wheel will be extended 19.35mm more than the stock wheel, or, 4.35mm more than the picture above (0.17") as those have 15mm spacers.

The above front tires are 245-40's which fit great. I had 245-35's and they were too small. The above is also 275-35's on the rear (45mm offset with 15mm spacers = 30mm overall offset) with the factory 9" wide rim.

Thanks, will let you know what I decide, convertible is heavier, so I am looking to use 245/40 on 4 rims due to rims are 19x9x30 mm and work on the spacers, currently my OEM/Rims tires are flush with body.

Thanks for response and suggestions.

Yeah, I'm not sure how much space a 'vert has in comparison to the coupe so you would need to take my suggestions with a grain of salt :)
