My 350Z touring convertible top could use re-vitalizing. I am told there is a spray on treatment that helps the
fabric waterproofing and will bring back the black tone. ?? Need advise. Agent Man.

You may need to give it a little more time! You could also check over in the 350z specific forums, they may have more information there for you. Don't forget to use the search bar, I would bet someone has asked the same question!

I'm a convertible addict.

Generally speaking, there's little you need to do to maintain a fabric top. Spray wash it if bird poop lands on it and try not to park in direct sunlight. If you have stains, Meguiars has an excellent top cleaner. You apply, let it sit, and wash it off. If your top is vinyl, Griot makes a decent conditioner; never tried it myself but Miata owners seem to favor it.

I have always used this (on my 240sx convertible, my Corvette, and my Miata):

It's a cleaner (which you use with a soft brush and water), and a protectant (which does a great job of shedding dirt and gives UV protection for months).

Damn, 40 bucks?! Does it come with a stripper that will clean the top for you too?!

I used the same thing on my S2000 top. Works well and never tried anything else. Other products could be good too?
