I haven't bought from him. I forget the name of the guy on ebay that used to sell tops, but his stuff was top notch.

With this particular guy, I would send him an email and request better pics. That one pic is so far out, you can't get any good clue as to the quality of his merchandise.

I know someone who has and have seen it. Looks good but the top is vinyl. Personally, I wouldn't go with vinyl.

So, who sells best cloth top? I really like the one on red vert. Who was that? He had smoked rear window. That top looked top notch.

Any particular reason you don't like vinyl? I'm about to buy a vinyl top and I want to make sure I'm not going to get screwed later.

Just check out some old Miata or Mustang with vinyl tops. They fade faster than cloth I believe.

vinyl rips a lot easier then the Stay Fast cloth...plus they came with cloth. So do most convertibles today. I wouldn't go with a vinyl top .

So where's the best place for tops these days? I've called two shops and both use the same "Electron Top" people as their supplier, but one of em is charging $660 labor and the other about $300, except the latter doesn't seem to want me to bring in a top for him to install because he can't guarantee the quality of the top, but I think it may just BS. If I don't find my own top he wants to charge me $980.

I believe that was s15ns13vert whos doing the r32 rear and kouki front.

I bought the vinyl top not really knowing it was vinyl but got it for really cheap before the guy on Ebay raised his prices. I'm in the process of putting it on, hopefully it will last for a good while so i don't have to redo the whole top changing process again.
