convertible top stop working, what should i be looking for?

Hi, i'm new to this, so here it goes. I have a 240sx convertible and just did a 5- speed swap to it, runs good, got the top working, a week later, went for a drive and try to put the top down then some how it stop working. could any body tell me what to check or look for? Thanks

welcome, id check the wires again, it might have disconnected

I check the wires and it was still connected, so i add another wire from the battery the the two wires i connected for the 5 speed and it work. I was sooo happy. Thanks, Im trying to post some pic of my car, so you all can see it,but don't know how to yet.

Check the hydro fluid in the motor in your trunk. My top stopped going up because the fluid level in mine was low.
